Vikas Arora is a seasoned business leader with over 28 years of experience in driving strategic and execution excellence within the retail financial services domain. He brings deep expertise across the financial services value chain, with extensive leadership experience spanning sales distribution, building business, risk, collections, credit underwriting, policy and operations.

At Piramal Finance, Vikas has played a pivotal role in shaping and scaling multiple high-impact business verticals. Until March 2024, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of PFSS, where he was instrumental in strengthening operational capabilities and driving business integration and growth following the DHFL merger.

Since March 2023, Vikas has also been leading key growth engines for the organization. As Head of Microfinance Business, he has been responsible for building and scaling the microfinance vertical from ground up both organically and inorganically. Under his leadership, the business has expanded rapidly to a network of ~380 branches, including the setup of 176 owned branches, while successfully navigating the complexities of recent credit cycles.

Vikas has also been leading Sales Planning since April 2022, where he has been responsible for network expansion and sales effectiveness across the organization. His contributions include the addition of over 250 branches in the last four years, strengthening channel partner ecosystems, and driving sales productivity through structured interventions across incentives, training, content, and data analytics.

Prior to Piramal Finance, Vikas held leadership roles at leading financial institutions including DHFL (as Chief Operating Officer for retail business), Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited and GE Money, gaining diverse experience across multiple products and business environments.

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance & Systems from Symbiosis International University.
